Deplorable to hear you are running into these bug with your Xbox Ane controller, what blazon of batteries are you using? Are they the replaceable ones, rechargeable batteries or a rechargeable battery pack? Try using the controller with the USB cord to see if this makes any difference.
If using rechargeable batteries it is possible that the issue is the bombardment pack itself just not wanting to hold charge anymore. You can always try using a fresh pair of batteries as well to see if this helps.

This could as well exist an issue with the controller non being synced properly, most likely due to something like a controller firmware update (I know there was ane of those recently) or a general Xbox update. Did you do the last recent controller update by plug it into the panel with the usb cable ? Maybe that'southward why ?

Y'all might be having sync bug. If batteries are no problem, then I usually pull out the batteries, plug them dorsum in and turn the controller dorsum on. I'll try a resync with the panel and hope it sticks. Sometimes if at a sure angle, your console might lose the IR betoken from the controllers line of sight.

Showtime, get a Micro-USB cable (brand sure it'due south a data cable, and not but a phone charging cable, as these oftentimes lack the USB data lines and simply provide power).
Remove the batteries from the controller (to make sure it's not a battery issue).
With the Micro USB data cable, connect the cable to a complimentary USB port on your Xbox console and the controller.
Does the controller work? If not, the controller is probably lacking. The controller will transmit controller data to the console via USB cablevision.
If information technology does piece of work, unplug the USB cable and find a USB power adapter (similar a phone charger) and connect the controller to the power source with the Micro USB cable. Every once in a while my controller does the aforementioned thing. It happens several times in a row. It always happens with energizer battery packs for some reason. After it happens the third time in a row I power cycle my organization and it seems to fix the problem for awhile.
